Villa Athena offers quality accommodation in a tranquil rural environment, yet just minutes from the popular and historic town of Paphos. The villa, which is south east facing, has only recently been completed and has been built, fitted and furnished to a high specification.
The comfortable open plan lounge and dining area is light and spacious.
The kitchen is fully fitted and has views across Marathounta valley. There are three good sized double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Externally there is a 8 x 4 pool, an outside dining space with table and chairs and further seating areas on the spacious first floor verandah with its stunning views over the valley to the sea beyond.
The living area and all bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning.
Villa Athena is located in a quiet development of 5 villas in the small hillside village of Marathounta. Its elevated position above Paphos means that it is less humid than the lower coastal areas & benefits from a welcome breeze in summer. Marathounta is served by a main road giving easy access to Paphos, the beach resort of Kato Paphos, the airport and the main highway to Limmasol, the Troodos Mountains & the rest of the island.
There’s one small local bar/restaurant in Marathounta, and a popular local restaurants & a mini market in nearby Konia with Paphos's pretty harbour, beaches, many restaurants & bars are only 12 minutes away.
For golfers there are three beautiful 18 hole golf courses all within 25 minutes drive.
